Welcome to the Jonesport Shipyard!

Owner Sune Noreen and crew at the Jonesport Shipyard Jonesport Shipyard is a convenient place to haul out in Downeast Maine in the fall and continue cruising the Northeast the following summer.

We have several moorings in the cove which can be rented while you are aboard or when you take a side trip by car.

Roque Island, Grand Manan, Brier Island and Campobello are within 4.6 and 34.5 nm. A day or two of sailing gets you to St. John, NB, or Nova Scotia.

A breakwater protects the cove's moorings. Our floating dinghy dock is available to those using moorings and those needing water. Depth at HIGH tide is approximately 8'-10'.

The Shipyard provides expert wood and fiberglass repair and restoration as well as outdoor storage, showers and laundry, gear lockers, do-it-yourself space* and a friendly place to rest, contact friends via bulletin board or internet, or trade books at our "laundry library."

Need to get off the boat? Bluenose Cottage is available by the week.
